SimplyHome Launches Check-in Service and Responder App

The latest addition to SimplyHome’s suite of enabling technology, the Check-in Service and Responder App allow provider organizations to verify care and easily manage a client’s circle of support.

“Our provider partners often express concern: How do we ensure our clients are getting the right type of supports? How can we promote client independence without sacrificing the quality of services? The Check-in Service is our answer to those concerns,” said Allen Ray, CEO of SimplyHome.

The Check-in Service and Responder App are intuitive and easy to use. After being set up as users on the client portal, caregiving staff can begin using the App to check in at a client’s location, verify their location via Bluetooth beacons, and document the time and type of services received. Staff receive alerts about upcoming check-ins and can use the Responder App to see each day at a glance. Because direct care staff are often navigating multiple, competing responsibilities, the Responder App is designed with flexible time frames for check-ins.

Like all SimplyHome technology, the Check-In Service is geared towards enabling the individual to live the life of their choosing in the community. The Responder App connects each client to the type of support they actually need while eliminating unnecessary staff visits and creating a cost-effective, efficient solution for the provider.

The Responder App is free to download and available on both Google Play and the App Store. Monthly fees for the Check-in Service range from $14.95-19.95 per client supported. Location verification is available via proximity beacons ($49.95/beacon, including programming).
